INTRODUCTION
Institute for Integrated Rural Development (IIRD), since its inception, has been consistently working in the field of Environment, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development. For past 16 years, IIRD has been putting efforts to increase its experience in the domain by developing and implementing all projects, thoroughly integrating them with nature, ecology, using organic products, making extensive innovations in developing green patches, soil health, increasing milk yield in livestock through organic and natural feed, nature-based health living, besides trying to create ease of living for people through various facilitation support services. In the year 2019, IIRD took a creative step forward in the field of Environment Conservation by establishing diverse
synergies and recognising the projects that have created a niche in managing the Solid Waste, displaying exemplary impact on stakeholders as a whole. IIRD is organising One-Day Environment Conclave on November 20, 2019, in Chandigarh on the theme “BIO-WASTE, ENVIRONMENT AND LIVELIHOOD” AN ORGANISED APPROACH TOWARDS “CLEAN INDIA, GREEN INDIA”.
The Conclave is aimed at understanding the existing approach in handling the waste and its proper management, various recycling measures being adopted to decrease biotic pressure and environmental hazards. The conclave is likely to be presided over by Hon’ble Chief Minister / Dy Chief Minister Haryana (confirmation awaited), Member of Parliament along with dignitaries from ARISE INDIA (FICCI),
Representatives from Corporate Entities, Universities, Related Industries
and Environmental Experts in Solid Waste Management and Environment. is an opportunity for entities as well as individuals, from all The Environment and Bio Living Awards 2019 over India, for showcasing their efforts in reducing, reusing and recycling the Solid Waste and managing it with efficiency. With this perspective, we hereby present to all deserving, , with a vision to create Environment and Bio Living Awards 2019 and felicitate Role Models and the future of today. The award will motivate, inspire and encourage all to appreciate and incorporate best practices and instill the spirit of creating Clean India, Green India.

Who all can apply?
The Application for the Awards is open for all Individuals, Corporate Entities and Industries functioning in the segments concerned.
Application Process:
Each entry should be accompanied by the attached application form, duly filled-in as per word limit and complete in all respect, along with Brochures, Pictures, Media write-ups, Publications of the work /Product, Interviews, etc. as Annexure.
All entries are to be made along with the stipulated Non- Refundable Entry Fee.
Selection Criteria:
The Projects/Enteries will be presented before the jury members for study and analysis, before reaching the consensual declaration. The jury will evaluate each entry and will decide on the winners. The decision of the jury will be final and binding. The Jury may like to verify the claims of the Award Applications and may get in touch with the Applicants
Entry Fee:
The entry fee is Rs 25,000/- + 18% GST for Organizational Category and Rs 10,000/- + 18% GST for Individual
Category. Maximum 3 entries can be made by a single entity under Organizational Category and only Single Entry for the Individual Category.
Last Date of Application:
18th of November, 2019, is the last date for applying for the Environment and Bio Living Awards 2019.
